Jeff and Ronnie Taylor are both brothers and partners in Taylor Woodworks. Jeff’s interest in reproduction furniture started on his honeymoon in Williamsburg, Virginia, where was taken by the inns and the spectacular woods in the furniture. As a newlywed, he needed new furniture, and therefore had a reason to start trying to build his own.
Ronnie dabbled with woodworking as a teen but not nearly as much as his brother. He made occasional projects for different people, usually as gifts. His first woodworking job was working for his brother during summer break after his freshman year at college. Ronnie later joined Jeff in Delaware after receiving his Bachelor’s degree in music from Eastern Nazarene College in 1999.
Both Taylors feel it is a gift to be able to do what they love for a living.
