Lisa Curry Mair creates canvas floorcloths in Perkinsville, Vermont, using her own original patterns and also reproduces classic floorcloths. In addition, she teaches classes in floorcloth making.
Her work is widely recognized and has been featured in Early American Life, Old House Journal, Country Living, Mother Earth News, and The Boston Globe Sunday Magazine, as well as on Vermont Public Television’s Rural Free Delivery and in The White House Permanent Collection. She has created floorcloths for the Rosedown Plantation in Louisiana, Melrose Plantation in Mississippi, Schuyler Mansion in New York, Museum of the City of New York, Mystic Seaport Museum in Connecticut, and other museums and restorations throughout the country.
Curry Mair is the author of Floorcloth Magic (Storey Publishing, 2002), and she travels throughout the country consulting and teaching.
