Paper

We look at paper from two perspectives, putting it together (as papermaking) and taking it apart (cutting it into decorative patterns). The latter runs a wide range from simple silhouettes to elaborate scherenschnitte. The paper itself may be decorated with ink or paint, but we see these embellishments as secondary to the material itself in this category.
