A.K. Fielding is academically trained in research and writing as a historian as well as a self-taught figurative painter, illustrator, and mixed-media artist. In recent years, she has merged her love of writing about early American history with art to create works that inspire people to study America’s incredible past.
Artwork that Fielding has created has appeared in exhibitions at such sites as Fishers Arts Council, Pike Performing Arts Center, Judge Stone House Gallery, Harrison Center for the Arts, Delphi Opera House, Battleground Museum, Women’s Fund for Central Indiana, Garfield Arts Park Center, Indianapolis Mayor’s Office, The Monon Depot Gallery, The Fountain Gallery, IUPUI, and Griffin’s Tavern in New York.
